Our unique process guarantees excellence. The logs are by-products of our oak beam production, meaning they are denser and from more mature trees. We dry them in our biomass-powered kilns to a moisture content below 20%, ensuring you get a log that is ready to burn, burns hotter, and lasts longer. Fewer logs are needed as the calorific value is far higher on kiln dried.
Kiln dried oak logs typically produce between 4-5 kwh per kilo, resulting in 4000-5000 kwh per tonne. Great for large fireplaces and inglenook fires.
